FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house in Royston last night (Thursday) after a blaze started in the basement.

Crews from Royston and Buntingford were called to a property in Sun Hill after a fire broke out at about 10.20pm.

The blaze was declared out by 11.30pm and is believed to be accidental.

No-one was hurt in the incident.
