Electric vehicle (EV) charging points are coming to Royston.

North Herts District Council has been successful in obtaining central government funding for the EV points, which will allow users of electric cars to recharge their batteries.

Charging points will be stationed around the district, with two set to be installed in the Civic Centre car park, off King James Way in Royston. They are likely to materialise later this year.
