Residents in two villages will have their bins collected early due to the Tour de France.

The third stage of the tour starts in Cambridge on Monday, meaning many streets around the city are closed.

As a result, Harston and Hauxton are among a list of South Cambridgeshire villages which will have their bins collected tomorrow (Saturday) rather than the usual Monday.

For the latest information, and to check the day your bins will be collected, you can also follow the district council on Twitter ‘@southcambs’, refer to the calendar in the South Cambs Magazine, or use the bin day collection finder at www.scambs.gov.uk
