Services have been disrupted on the Great Northern line today after a person was hit by a train at Welham Green.

A spokesman for Govia Thameslink said a person had been struck by the 10.35 London King’s Cross to Peterborough service at about 11am.

All lines through Welham Green were blocked due to emergency services being at the scene, but have just reopened.

The spokesman said disruption between London King’s Cross/Moorgate and Stevenage via Hatfield was likely to continue to about 2pm, with delays currently around 30 minutes.
