Emergency services were called to a serious house fire in Royston at around 9.15 on Saturday night.

Fire control took multiple calls after a house fire started in Willowside Way. It was extinguished with a jet and a hosereel.

  • Great story! This was taken from the twitter feed for the fire brigade. I could have given a better story than this of the event. It was the worse house fire I have ever seen, but the fire brigade did a fantastic job and it was out within minutes of their arrival.
