A motorbike and a car were involved in the crash on the A1198 near Bassingbourn.

A motorbike and a car were involved in the crash on the A1198 near Bassingbourn.


At least one person has been injured following a collision on the A1198 near Bassingbourn Barracks earlier today.

The crash happened on the stretch of road between the Flecks Lane turning for Wendy and the roundabout for Wimpole Hall shortly before 11.45am.

Police and the ambulance service were on the scene and officers were controlling the flow of traffic while paramedics tended to the injured person. Members of the public also stopped to help. The scene has since been cleared.
