A burglar has broken into a Foxton home and and taken keys and valuables, before driving off in the household’s car.

Police were called at about 8am yesterday morning to a report of a burglary in St Laurence Road.

The break-in happened between 10pm on Tuesday and 7.20am yesterday, while the occupants were all in bed.

It was reported that someone entered the house and stole a set of keys, a black Volkswagen Passat estate – which had a roof box on it – and a black rucksack which contained an iPhone, iPad and a Samsung mobile phone.
