A505 crash blocks road

A TWO-CAR collision last night blocked the A505 near the Ashwell Junction.

The police were notified by the ambulance service at just after 6pm.

A red Audi A3 and a gold Renault Scenic collided which left fluid leaking onto the road.

The incident took place on the Royston-bound side of the road and was cleared at 8pm.

A Police spokesman said that the road was partially blocked.
