THE A1198 is closed following a three-vehicle pile up near Arrington earlier this morning.

Police were called to the scene, on the outskirts of the village, at 10.40am this morning, and ambulance and fire crews are now also in attendance.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Police said the vehicles are blocking the carriageway, so the road will remain closed from the A603 roundabout while they are removed.

It is not yet known how many people were travelling in the vehicles, but it is thought none of them have sustained life-threatening injuries.
