A 'Chatter and Natter' table has been set up in Royston to encourage people of all ages to talk to each other.

The table, which is part of the Chatty Café scheme, will be at Kooky Nohmad in High Street every Monday from midday to 1.30pm.

Chatty Cafés aim to tackle loneliness and social isolation, with online and phone sessions available.

More information about the scheme can be found at https://thechattycafescheme.co.uk/.

Sessions are hosted by a friendly volunteer, and anyone is welcome to sit down for a chat.

Visitors can pop in for five minutes or stay for the entire session.

Mayor of Royston Cllr Lisa Adams also dropped in to visit the table during its first session last month.
