Royston Arts Society to hold Online Members' Exhibition

This is the fifth time the exhibition has been run as an online event, showcasing artwork with a range of styles, media and subjects.

More than 100 paintings will be on display by 17 of the society's members, and all the pictures are for sale at affordable prices.

The exhibition runs from Saturday, April 13 to Sunday, May 28, and will be available to view at rasexhibitions.roystonarts.org.uk.

Society chairman Richard Clayton said: "Exhibiting art in this way presents a number of challenges, both for the individual artists and for the team organising the online display, but we know that it enables a much wider public to enjoy looking at our artwork.  

"It also raises our profile among local artists who may become interested in joining us.

"While our annual Autumn Exhibition in Royston Town Hall will continue to be the main event in our exhibition calendar, the Members' Exhibition, like our ongoing exhibition of paintings in Royston Library, helps to ensure that we are closely involved with the local community throughout the year."
