A van was broken into and ransacked twice in Royston, and police are appealing for information and witnesses.

Both incidents took place on Lambert Way at around 1.30am, one on Monday, March 4 and one on Monday, March 11.

The suspect reportedly broke into the victim's van on both occasions and conducted an untidy search before leaving, with nothing reported as stolen.

He is described as a white man in his 20s, wearing a dark jacket with black gloves and black shoes.

PSCO Rebecca Fannon-Hall, from the Royston Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "I’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, was in the area at the time or has any information that may help the investigation.
