The Woodman Inn in Nuthampstead and The Pheasant in Great Chishill will be providing a complimentary Christmas lunch this year to selected senior members of the community.

The lunch will include a full turkey dinner, or veggie option, with Christmas pudding to follow, all washed down with festive 'cheer'.

Guests can enjoy a free raffle - with all prizes to be donated by Nutwood Pubs - and Santa himself may make an appearance.

Members of the community in Nuthampstead and Great Chishill are invited to nominate anyone who they feel would appreciate a hot meal with potential new friends.

Nutwood Pubs requests a voluntary donation of £10 per nominee to cover costs, and they are also welcoming donations from regular pub customers. Any surplus will be donated to local charities.

The pubs are also calling for volunteers to help with transportation for the lunch guests on the day.

The lunch takes place on Monday, December 19 at The Pheasant, and at the Woodman on Thursday, December 22.

All nominees are asked to arrive at 12.30pm for a pre-lunch tipple, for lunch at 1pm.

To make a nomination for The Pheasant email Meg at pheasant@nutwoodpubs.com or for The Woodman email George at woodman@nutwoodpubs.com.
