THE Cougars knew they would have to defend well against stronger opposition and started quite well with it taking 20 minutes for their defence to be breached.

This was quickly followed by a superb cross and headed finish and then a couple of penalties were conceded as defenders made desperate tackles.

The second half was more-or-less one way traffic but the Cougars did manage a goal themselves through Michael Hardy.

Man-of-the-match for the Cougars was Matt Hilton
