Buntingford Cougars under-15s started their Div 1 season off with a win, beating their local rivals Royston Town 2-1 in a match that was full of chances for both sides.

The Cougars opened the scoring with a great goal from Rees Camper and went in at half time in the lead.

Royston came out in the second half pushing hard and soon levelled the game, but this seemed to spur the Cougars on and a goal from Ryan Newey clinched the victory.
