Under-13s Division Three

Bassingbourn Youth 1

Potton 2

BASSINGBOURN lost their home match 2-1 to Potton in the first match of a double-header.

The match started with Potton dominanting posession and it needed a very good display from 'keeper Alan Green to keep the scores blank at half time.

The second half was more even and chances were made by both teams.

However, two late goals from Potton sealed the victory.

In the reverse fixture, Potton took a early lead but as in the previous match, Bassingbourn never rolled over and gave up.

It was only in the second half that Potton became too strong for Bassingbourn and they ran out 4-0 winners in the end
