ROYSTON Celtic suffered only their second defeat of the season in a tough encounter away to Letchworth Blues.

Richard Jonas went close for the visitors but saw his effort hit the bar and Letchworth had just the one shot from outside the box which went in to the top corner to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.

The Whites stepped up their game in the second half while Jack Mills and Callum Pinner kept things tight at the back.

Rhys Westbury was moved up front to help Justin Leavers and did well but they were unable to make the break through.
