TOWN were forced to defend desperately and the fantastic performance in goal by Rory Hunter kept their opponents out in the first half with Tom Turner scoring a good goal against the run of play.

Findlay Livingstone and George Turner made the step to the team with ease and together with some superb defending by Bradley Whale all game kept the Shephall attackers at bay. The visitors scored an equaliser in the second half but the lively Jack Davis kept things going at the other end and it fell to the prolific Bruce Barnes to score the winner after latching onto a Tom Turner pass with minutes to go.
