In January 2008, Herts24 and Cambs24 picked up the prestigious 'Website of the Year' award at the EDF Energy East of England Media Awards. The accolade was the most recent in an impressive stable of recognition for the sites which were launched in 2000.
The web team at Archant Herts & Cambs has worked diligently to create dynamic online versions of their award winning newspapers. But rather than offer our web users a duplicate of their local title, the online version offers an entirely different experience and maximises use of video content, photo galleries and capitalises on interaction with our users.
The Cambridgeshire Agenda Website
Each website created recognises the importance of bringing our valued readers their news as and when it happens and it has become the first place to find out what, where and how local issues affect our local users.
Not only that, our websites recognise the fact that by being able to reach a global audience our advertisers can extend their product reach in addition to using our local papers to build up their brand awareness.

Archant Herts & Cambs now publishes over 25 individual websites for newspapers, magazines, awards events and as online only ventures.
In June 2008 our newspaper websites recorded in excess of 160,000 unique visitors and 1.1 million page impressions.
